In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 reference apps on iOS in Denmark showcased diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Translate saw a steady performance in weekly downloads, peaking at around 4.9K in mid-July before settling in the range of 2.4K to 3.2K towards the end of September. The app maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users increasing gradually from approximately 195K to 212K over the quarter.

Klimafolkemødet, which launched in early August, experienced significant growth in downloads, starting from just 22 in the first week to a peak of 6.2K by the end of September. This indicates a strong initial interest and adoption among users.

Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.9K at the end of June and dropping to 416 by late September. The app's weekly active users also decreased from approximately 4.3K to 3.4K over the same period, reflecting a downward trend in user engagement.
